After last week's gig we decided to start writing completely new material which started slowly and resulted in a relatively unproductive week. I think that we owe this too the sheer amount of concentration we put onto perfecting our football club set and as a result a lack of creative discussion within the group for a matter of weeks.
Lucy and Daisy did however play us a song which they had started writing in James' last thursday session, which is currently named 'Follow Me Down'. We agreed that it would be perfect for the Wolves and dabbled a little with harmonies and parts but didn't continue much beyond that.
However, in the James' session this week we were challenged to write a protest song and decided to write it as a band. We then kept working on 'Red Blood Runs Deep' in our Friday session in the big room and managed to complete a verse and a chorus!
We will keep on working on both of these songs next week.
It was also my birthday on Friday...and they got me very lovely tea!! Just goes to show how nice the Wolves are eh?
Until next week...Bethan :)
